Peak XV Partners has announced the 14 startups that will join the tenth cohort of its rapid scale-up program, Surge. This milestone follows the launch of its ninth cohort earlier in October 2023, which featured 13 startups and 32 founders. Surge has now supported over 150 startups and 350 founders, spanning 17 sectors across its ten cohorts.
The 14 startups in Surge 10 include Amaani, Ambak, Auquan, Brainfish, Clout Kitchen, Dezy, Dubbing Ai, OrbitShift, Parseable, SalarySe, Tailcall, The Health Factory, Wobot, and one stealth company in the specialty healthcare sector. Notably, Amaani is the first startup from the Middle East to be selected for the program.
Each participating startup will receive up to $3 million in seed funding, along with extensive support in key areas such as hiring, product development, technology, and marketing. Surge offers additional perks worth over $2 million, including access to cloud storage, marketing tools, software, and services.
In addition to funding and resources, startups will benefit from one-on-one mentorship with global founders and operators, positioning them to succeed in both local and international markets. The program will run from October 2024 to February 2025, combining online and in-person sessions focused on product development, sales strategies, brand building, and founder growth.
