Flent Secures Rs 6.5 Crore Pre-Seed Funding to Revolutionize India’s Rental Market

Date:

Proptech startup Flent has raised Rs 6.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by WEH Ventures, with contributions from US-based 2 AM Ventures, Pareto Holdings, and angel investors including Sanchan S Saxena (ex-GM, Airbnb), Aneesh Reddy (Capillary Technologies founder), Arjun Vaidya (founder, Dr. Vaidya’s), and Abhilash N (co-founder, Ivy Homes).

The fresh capital will be used to bolster Flent’s core team and advance its innovative full-stack renting platform, designed to simplify the rental process for India’s new-age professionals. The platform, Flent Reserve, offers a seamless rental experience with no brokerage, minimal deposits, and flexible lease durations.

Founded in October 2023 by Shail Daswani, Mayank Lalwani, and Rishabh Agnihotri, Flent has launched 120 fully furnished homes across Bengaluru, achieving 100% occupancy within 10 days. With a waitlist of over 500 individuals, the company is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for hassle-free rentals in India’s fast-paced urban landscape.

Flent also provides homeowners with a turnkey solution, managing everything from property acquisition to furnishing, transforming homes into profitable rental spaces.
