Mumbai-based game development studio, GameEon, has secured $1 million in a fresh funding round. The investment was co-led by SucSEED Indovation Fund, ICE VC, IAN, CD EQUIFINANCE, Nexus Global Opportunities Fund, Vivek Goel, Patni Family, and Tal64.
GameEon, which previously raised $500,000 for product prototyping and market testing, leveraged that capital to conduct trials across 12 countries and gather insights from over 5,000 gamers globally.
The latest round of funding will be used to accelerate the development of AA and AAA titles for PC and console gaming. The company also announced plans to release early chapters of its highly anticipated game, Mumbai Gullies, a cultural tribute to the city, inspired by GTA Vice City.
Founded in 2021 by Nikhil Malankar and Kaustubh Jadhav, GameEon has built a reputation for delivering immersive experiences across PC, console, and mobile platforms. Its portfolio includes titles such as Kites Mumbai and Box Cricket. The studio aims to combine deep cultural narratives with innovative gameplay to resonate with a global audience.
As the global gaming industry is projected to reach $300 billion by 2026, GameEon is positioning itself to be a key player in this expanding market.
