Gnani.ai, a leading voice-first generative AI firm, has successfully raised Rs 30 crore (approximately $4 million) in a Series A funding round led by Info Edge Ventures. This fresh capital will be allocated towards accelerating sales growth and expanding Gnani.ai’s operations across various geographies, as per the company’s official statement. Samsung Ventures also backs the firm.
Founded in 2016 by Ganesh Gopalan and Ananth Nagaraj, Gnani.ai has developed a unique generative AI platform that enhances customer experiences for clients worldwide. The startup offers a comprehensive no-code voice-first platform featuring a range of product capabilities including omnichannel conversational automation, agent assistance, voice biometrics, and omnichannel analytics.
Gnani.ai’s technology stack is distinguished by its patented, proprietary advancements in text-to-speech (TTS), speech-to-text (STT), natural language processing (NLP), and augmented intelligence. Notably, the technology supports not only English but also 14 Indian languages, broadening its applicability in the diverse linguistic landscape of India.
In addition to its robust platform, Gnani.ai recently unveiled a series of Voice-first AI Small Language Models (SLMs). The initial rollout of these SLMs is targeted at sectors such as banking, insurance, automotive, and retail, signalling the company’s strategic focus on industry-specific solutions.
