Premium tea brand Freshleaf has recently announced the successful closure of its seed funding round, raising Rs 1 crore. The funding, led by Inflection Point Ventures, marks a significant milestone for the company as it prepares for accelerated growth in the competitive tea market.

Freshleaf, co-founded by Balkirat Singh and Muneet Arora, has positioned itself as a purveyor of premium-quality tea at accessible prices, with offerings starting from Rs 130. Since its establishment in 2022, the company has steadily expanded its footprint, establishing a robust presence in the offline market. Products are available in over 550 stores across 40 cities in India.

The capital infusion from this seed round will be allocated to several key areas essential for Freshleaf’s growth trajectory. A significant portion will be earmarked for expanding marketing efforts, enabling the brand to enhance its visibility and engage with a broader audience. Additionally, funds will be directed towards augmenting production capacity to meet increasing demand and ensuring consistent supply chain operations.

Freshleaf is also keen on leveraging this investment to bolster its research and development initiatives.
