Fluid Analytics Secures $1.6M Pre-Series A Investment to Propel Global Expansion.

Date:

Cleantech innovator Fluid Analytics has secured $1.6 million in its latest pre-Series A funding round, led by Pravega Ventures, a prominent early-stage venture capital firm. An additional boost came from an angel investor, highlighting growing interest in the company’s mission to revolutionize water infrastructure monitoring and combat water-borne diseases.

The capital infusion marks a pivotal moment for Fluid Analytics, poised to fuel its ambitious global scale-up strategy. With an initial emphasis on penetrating the North American market, this strategic allocation underscores the company’s commitment to leveraging technology for environmental sustainability and public health enhancement.

Co-founded by Nidhi Jain and Asim R. Bhalerao, Fluid Analytics specializes in monitoring water infrastructure health, waterway conditions, and the proliferation of water-borne illnesses at a scalable level. Their innovative solutions have already made substantial impacts, with deployments encompassing monitoring over 400 million gallons (1.5 billion litres) of urban wastewater spills and facilitating the treatment and reuse of more than 200 million gallons (800 million litres) daily.

Moreover, Fluid Analytics oversees a population exceeding 17.5 million individuals for water-borne diseases, which is a crucial indicator of sewage spill occurrences. By adopting a collaborative business model, the company works alongside municipalities, utilities, contractors, and engineering firms, offering sustainable solutions to combat water pollution effectively.

Pravega Ventures, known for its focus on seed and pre-Series A investments, has consistently supported innovative startups across various sectors. Their backing of Fluid Analytics underscores the potential they see in the company’s technology-driven approach to addressing critical environmental challenges.

Fluid Analytics joins Pravega Ventures’ distinguished portfolio, which includes successful ventures such as Crofarm (now Otipy), Fyle, SalarySe, Cashinvoice, and GrayQuest. This latest investment validates Fluid Analytics’ vision and positions the company for accelerated growth and impact as it ventures into new markets and expands its technological capabilities.

As the world grapples with escalating environmental concerns, Fluid Analytics stands at the forefront of leveraging data and analytics to enact meaningful change in water management and public health. With this substantial funding injection, the company is poised to solidify further its position as a leader in the cleantech space, driving innovation and sustainability on a global scale.
